In our very own home country, ERA Malaysia is a key player in providing training and business consultation for real estate agencies while fulfilling the dream of Real Estate Negotiators and agencies in reaching their fullest potentials. We strive to ensure our members benefits from ERA’s Real Estate Business System and raise the bar of professionalism in the Malaysian Real Estate Industry.

In a market where the majority of real estate practitioners continue to operate with the traditional practices of the past, ERA Malaysia armed with comprehensive training programs and many innovative products and services are committed to give customers the highest level of service possible in the industry. Today, there are 4 member agencies with us, which counting at 300 members and growing.

ERA brand name is recognized worldwide as franchised real estate business however in Malaysia, we are a solutions service provider to local real estate agencies, real estate negotiators.

Tai Eefan

(Chief Executive Officer Johor)

Mr Tai graduated from University of Birmingham, UK with an (Hons) degree in Civil Engineering in 2005. Started off his career as project engineer at construction site and working the way to be the executive director of a local building contractor. He has been involved in more than 100 projects of various sizes from a single bungalow to commercial / industrial project to a size of RM 100M. He was fully sponsored to IMD Lausanne for a leadership seminar by HOLCIM in 2014. Subsequently, he was sponsored to be trained in Daiwa training centre in Nara, Japan in 2018 for a pre-fabricated project in Johor Bahru. In 2016, he got empanelled to be an adjudicator for AIAC. Since 2017, he was accredited as a GBIF and was the chairman of Malaysia GBC Southern Chapter in 2019. He partners with associates to run a green building practice – Conevo Green Consultancy since 2015. Aside from the building industry, he is also involved in the property and hospitality industry. Currently, his focus is in the real estate agency – ERA real estate. His bold and sole goal is to lead the Johor branch to a team-size of 1000-strong associates before 2022.

SR Tang Shin Wee

(Principal Johor & Registered Estate Agent)

SR Tang Shin Wee holds a BSC (Hons) Property Management from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor. He is a Registered Valuer, a Registered Estate Agent, and a Registered Property Manager and member of The Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers Malaysia.

He is a committee member of the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM, Johor branch), a member of The Association of Valuers, Property Managers, Estate Agents and Property Consultants in the Private Sector Malaysia (PEPS) and a Member of Malaysian Institute of Professional Property Managers (MIPPM).

His forte also include real estate valuation involving property portfolios located in Johor Bahru, retail and corporate real estate for various purposes such as establishment of Public Listed Company (IPO), submission to Securities Commission (SC) Malaysia and Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX).

Lim Ah Leck

(Principal Johor & Registered Estate Agent)

After a decade as an Estate Manager in plantation, Mr Lim left to real estate industry. He attained his real estate licence in early 1980s, subsequently he founded a real estate agency in Johor Bahru. As a Registered Real Estate Agent, he has been actively involved in real estate. As at to-date, he is also the Inspector of Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents & Property Managers, Malaysia. He was a Charter Chairman of Malaysian Institute of Estate Agents Johor Branch for years 1990-2003, Past Vice President of Malaysian Institute of Estate Agents for 6 years. Mr Lim, a man of many accolades who has also won some awards such as MIEA Real Estate Leadership Award of year 2014, HWT Prestigious Entrepreneur Award 2015 and he also attained the HRDF Certified Trainer in 2019. As a business administration student who completed ABE Diploma in Business Administration, Mr Lim also hold the following professions and qualifications:

Susan Tan

(Principal Johor & Registered Estate Agent)

Madam Susan Tan is a Registered Estate Agent (E1421) with The Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers. She is also a fellow of the Malaysian Institute of Estate Agents (MIEA). She served several years as committee and as committee for public relation & bulletin portfolio. She is also a speaker for the Negotiators Certification Course by Malaysian Institute of Estate Agents Johor branch. Madam Susan comes from a family background in real estate. She holds a Diploma in Insurance and she has many years of experience in handling both general insurance and real estate business. She is the Chartered Secretary of Lions Club of Permas Jaya, Johor Bahru and she is actively involved in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and community projects too. Presently, Madam Susan tan is a Principal & Registered Estate Agent for New Bob Realty SDN. BHD. Powered By ERA Johor branch.

Serene Ngee

(Principal Johor & Registered Estate Agent)

Presenting Ms. Serene Ngee, a distinguished Registered Real Estate Agent (E. 2266) with an astounding 20 years of experience in the dynamic realm of real estate. Holding a diploma conferred by the Board of Valuers, Appraisers, and Estate Agents Malaysia (BOVAEA), Serene Ngee’s educational foundation is substantial leaving a remarkable track record and a wealth of expertise in this industry.

She was a former Director & Business Owner of Reapfield Properties (Johor Bahru) Sdn Bhd., and is also a Sole Proprietor of Agile Properties and Past Treasurer of Malaysia Institute Estate Agent (MIEA) Johor Branch (2019-2021). As a Registered Real Estate Agent, he has been actively involved in real estate.

Her journey in the real estate arena has been marked by exceptional contributions and accomplishments. As to-date, Serene Ngee’s dedication and proficiency have led her to become the Special Project, PR & Bulletin Head of MIEA and our Associate Director & Principal of New Bob Realty Sdn. Bhd., proudly powered by ERA Johor Branch. Serene is also our Director leading ERA Johor’s Training & Development Department (TDD).
